Because I sometimes teach workshops and classes and to be honest, because sometimes I just like to dabble,  I occasionally experiment with new media for a short time. 

 

The metal stamping arose from me just wanting to experiment some with some unique silverware since I'm always working on functional things.

The sock monsters originated from a workshop I took at an art education conference and started off as class examples, then I wrote a couple of comics about them and then started on individual stories.  I now have more than 50 stories that I've consolidated into a book.  They now have their own website at www.sockmonsterproblems.com
